That may be why it is giving you problems. The BIOS in the new board may not even have been flashed with a ROM file yet. You would be better off with the original board in the notebook. Are you aware that the system board needs to be tattooed with HP's proprietary utility to put the systemboard information in the BIOS? It is a DMI tool. ![]()
